President Obama is in talks with the Clinton campaign about how and when his endorsement could be the most helpful (perhaps as early as this week) reports the New York Times.
President Obama, after months of sitting on the sidelines of the rancorous contest to succeed him, is now ready to aggressively campaign for Hillary Clinton, starting with a formal endorsement of her candidacy as early as this week.
The White House is in active conversations with Mrs. Clinton’s campaign about how and where the president would be useful to her, according to senior aides to Mr. Obama.
We’re lucky to have a President who will be an asset on the trail and embraced by our nominee (something that John McCain and Al Gore did not have to their advantage).
With the President’s approval numbers consistently over 50% for quite a while now, he’s actually more popular than Ronald Reagan was at this point in his Presidency (interestingly, the last President who was succeeded by a member of his own party).
It was reported last week that President Obama is ready to ‘explode’ onto the campaign trail for the Democratic nominee.
According to sources close to the administration, Obama is “ready to explode” out onto the trail, ready to take Republican nominee Donald Trump head-on.
Politico reports that a source close to Obama confirms the President wants nothing more than to get out on the campaign trail and push hard for the Democratic nominee. The hands-off period of the Democratic primary is reportedly “driving him crazy.”
We got a preview of what President Obama might look like on the campaign trail to defend his legacy and help elect a President who will build on it in his recent speech in Elkhart, IN (the first city he visited as President in the midst of the economic meltdown).

x YouTube VideoBy the end of the month, you’re going to have Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Michelle Obama, and Elizabeth Warren all joining the already potent team of supporters and surrogates Hillary has around her ready to demolish Donald Trump and continue the progress we began in 2008.
EDIT:
Someone mentioned Malia and Sasha in the comments, and it reminded me of one of my favorite pictures of the President of all time (this is from the primaries in 2008)
Not sure who is having more fun here...I am justifying having it in this diary for two reasons:
1. The diary is somewhat about Obama having fun on the campaign trail
2. The picture is awesome, as is our President
