Just a quick diary-
I managed to watch almost all of the marathon Inquisition yesterday, as Republicans tripped over themselves to try and browbeat a soundbite out of Hillary Clinton.
For eleven hours, she remained calm, focused, and poised.
She showed a vast command of knowledge and insight, she refused to stoop to the level of the Republicans attacking, interrupting, and insulting her.
As they impugned her character, insinuating and outright claiming she was everything from a diva wanting political credit instead of doing her job, to a callous, heartless person who let four Americans die to protect President Obama's reelection.
As they repeatedly hurled insults and loaded questions at her, she calmly and effectively batted away the nonsense with what can only be described as a Presidential bearing.
It was a day where everyone could be proud to be a Democrat. For supporters of Hillary, it was particularly sweet to see her turn this outrageous "scandal" on it's head. Last night, I donated $11 dollars to Hillary Clinton. It isn't a lot, but I figured it was the least I could do after she withstood that barrage of ugliness for eleven hours.
